My Story
It's all just mindset stuff...
Growing up and living by the beaches of Southern California has been such a blessing! Orange County and the surrounding communities are some of the most beautiful landscape in the world and I have enjoyed every aspect from mountain to sea!
Living the long days of sunshine, I was always a fitness devotee, and loved the active lifestyle I shared with friends and family. I had a passion for all things wellness and enjoyed researching the latest studies in this area, and putting it into practice.
As time passed my enthusiasm remained, yet I became very aware of the pressure to maintain physical appearances. I saw a lot of struggle behind the outward beauty and my focus began to shift.
I asked myself, “Does the inside reflect the outside? My journey through personal development began.
I’m grateful that I had the influence of my wonderful family, especially my Father. His ability to focus on the “person not the problem” inspired me from a very young age. His mindset and values made him a pillar of strength in my life and many others. He’s an entrepreneur, and I grew up watching him start businesses to solve problems and help his community as a man of strong Christian faith.
So naturally I felt called to emulate him and serve God, and my community well. I’ve followed in his footsteps by starting my own businesses with the foundation he instilled.
I studied nutrition and exercise physiology in school and graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. I began working as an intern in a gerontology clinic and physical therapy facilities and within a few years I started my own business.
Over the past 20 years it has grown into a wellness and body treatment center with state of the art equipment focusing on esthetic and wellness for athletes and women.
Many of my clients come in for long-term therapies and body treatments. I’d always striven for my business to be a place of authenticity, beauty, and whole body wellness – a safe and trusted place with no judgement. An environment were every person is valued and free to be themselves. I quickly realized this space would provide much more than physical beauty and wellness.
Over the past number of years I noticed that many of my clients were coming in not just for the treatments they needed, but for the connection, community, and support for their personal lives. The ability to share my own story and struggles and how I found victory added value and in-turn confidence, peace, and joy to those I shared it with. This desire to help my clients and my community continue to grow, so I decided to branch out and work to serve them at an even greater capacity.
I knew that the greatest investment I had ever made was not in business but was the one I made in myself. I began to study in the personal development space and practice the many methods I learned from neuropsychologist, pastors, mentors, and incredible life coaches.
I discovered a great deal about myself and the truth behind the power of my thoughts. I began to understand that our thoughts predict our future and that “what we choose to think about GROWS”. I learned how to take every thought captive and completely transform my life, my relationships, and my career. This transformation gave me the freedom to experience more goodness, happiness, and abundance in all areas of life, even the most challenging.
After several years of applying and sharing these amazing techniques with others, I went back to school and earned a C.P.L.C (Certified Professional LifeCoach) credential. I also received my certification to facilitate S.H.I.N.E groups for women and young adults from any cultural, educational, and socioeconomic background, who seek to discover their personal value, resilience, and potential.
I have enjoyed coaching many women and girls one on one and in a group settings over the last several years. I look forward to sharing my method with all of you. My passion is to Encourage, Equip, and Elevate those of you who want to go from where you are now, to where you want to be in the future!
There is no greater joy than to walk alongside amazing women who move from confusion to clarity, chaos to calm, dull to passionate, and stuck to FREE in any area of life!
